Packages are stored and distributed among the Sitecore installations in ZIP packages, but their format differs from the standard for zip archives. Though, they can be opened using the MS Windows built-in zip archiver.

Select the Generate ZIP button in the Build chunk to generate a zip package.

Before generating a ZIP package you should make sure that all items referenced by the static sources exist, otherwise the package generation will fail.
